Corry's Slug and Snail Death

When you think of Seattle, you probably think of Bill Gates or Microsoft or something high-tech, or maybe Starbucks, or maybe even the Space Needle...not us...we think of Corry's Slug and Snail Death, I mean, how can you not??  So, on this fine grayish Saturday morning, after the obligatory latte or two, we set out on the great search.  It didn't matter if we had to go play in Oregon...we had more important things to think of.   Actually, the search didn't take real long--we stopped in Tweedy & Popp Ace Hardware on 45th St--a very nice store, had that real hardware store ambience...oh, and for you rock and rollers, we think there's some connection with Jeff Tweedy from the band Wilco (they had a picture of him playing on the street in front of the store, anyway).  But, back to the search--after a careful look through the shelves, we thought we'd hit a dead end...until Jacquie asked the clerk (Jacquie's always the one who asks the clerk...).  He said, "oh yeah, there's not many products out there that use the word DEATH in their name,"  and he pulled this nice box out from the back of a dusty lower shelf.

So now we have a 2lb 4oz box sitting in the back of the car till we get home.  No, we're not anti-mollusk--there really isn't a big problem with snails or slugs where we live--though we hear its been raining quite a bit.  Its going to look great up on the shelf though...
