What do you do with an afternoon off in San Antonio? Well, there's the Alamo, but we've been there…we remember it…so when Janet Hans told us the "Toilet Seat Museum" was open (a rare occurance we're told) we had no choice. We went to see Barney Smith and his 581 (to date) pieces of toilet seat art, each with a different theme. Here we are with Barney in front of some of his plumbing (Barney's a master plumber) and railroad and Super Bowl and tennis and dentistry seats. You can't see the Brad Pitt or the OJ seat though. Barney started 31years ago, his first seat was a collection of dog tags. Now he's been on Montel, in Life Magazine, not to mention Texas Backroads. Wonder what #582 is going to be? Texas was great fun, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa too. |
