Canoe
We're Canoeing Again!!!

August 5-9 on the Green River in UtahWe did this 5 day trip last year and it did not disappoint.  We had a blast.  So many of you wanted to go we thought we'd do it again.   We start just a bit south of the town of Green River and head south toward Canyonlands National Park. This is a flat water trip--no rapids this year, but the scenery is not to be missed. Join us!!! Five days of canoeing, hiking, and camping some incredible canyon country--and we play music in the evenings. No, you don't have to be an expert or a triathlon type or from Colorado! And yes, by all means bring an instrument if you can!! This will be our seventh trip and each year has been a whole lot of fun.

For reservations and more information go to Centennial Canoe Outfitters (www.centennialcanoe.com) or 1-877-353-1850). Price is about $550 per person, and that includes all food and drink. You bring clothes, a tent and sleeping bag, Centennial supplies the rest. Marty and the folks at Centennial really go out of their way to make these trips both fun and rewarding, not to mention safe (Let's hope Marty can come so he can recite a few Robert Service poems for us again). We really can't say enough about this--we always look forward to these weekends--its going to be another great time! We've put together a page of pictures from the trips-- Look here.

Steve and Johnnie
We'd like to post an overdue thank you to Steve King and Johnnie Putman of WGN AM 720 Radio in Chicago.    Steve and Johnnie are the long time hosts of "Life After Dark", the overnight show on WGN.    We've been on their show twice now and had a truly wonderful time (unlike another overnight AM radio show we did in New York recently, but we won't talk about that...).   They're great--their show is great, and eclectic--they don't always have musical guests, but when they do, you just might hear Les Paul or Scotty Moore!  We're honored to be included.   AM radio is not dead!  If you're up late or you work nights you really should tune in.

Dave Morrison...

Dave MorrisonWe've been mentioning it for a while, but here it is...information on Dave Morrison's new album, "A Little Farther Down the Line."  Dave wrote two great songs we've performed and recorded, "Quartzite" and "Hope"--now you can hear Dave's versions along with a whole album of great songs.  Go to www.davemorrisonmusic.com or his MySpace page.

Send us your email...

Even if you think your on our mailing list already--we've lost a lot of you as you've changed your email over the years.
