This year's trip is full...but we do have a waiting list and we're hoping to do this more in the future...stay tuned
May 1-10, 2012. We’ll be visiting Counties Cork, Kerry, and Clare, lead by our Irish partner Tom Pigott from Limerick who has been in the tour business for many years and is also a great singer. We'll take 20 guests and travel in a small luxury coach/bus and stay in small hotels and an occasional bed and breakfast.
First, we’ll travel south to County Cork where we’ll stay three days and nights. By day we will visit the Drumbeg Stone circle, Mizen Head (Ireland's southern most point with Lighthouse) the fishing villages of Kinsale, Glandore, Crookhaven, and Clonakilty. By night we’ll share music with the Irish. Some nights we hire a local songwriter to come play for us, most nights we go to an Irish pub for a traditional music session of jigs and reels followed by songs. No doubt, we’ll end up singing a few--our Irish partner Tom, too...you?
Next, we’ll move up to County Kerry for three more days and nights staying in Ballyferriter on the Dingle Peninsula. By day we will tour the Slea Head drive along the sea with breath-taking views of the Blasket Islands, several stops at ancient prehistoric sites, and a free day for folks to do as they please. Golf, hike, shop, eco boat tour, etc. Each night we once again will hear some of Ireland most talented singers and musicians.
We’ll spend our final three days and nights visiting County Clare and staying in the small village of Doolin. The Cliffs of Moher, The Aran Islands, and the Burren by day, and out for great music each night and maybe even try some Irish set dancing after a little intro lesson.
Cost is $2100 per person based on double occupancy. We will do our best to match up room mates if preferred. Single rooms are an additional $350 total per person for all 9 nights. The fee also includes all ground transportation, all lodging. including full breakfast. We also provide 3 evening group meals, and the cost for our featured Irish musicians, poets, writers, etc. Guests pay for their own flights to and from Shannon International Airport, all lunches, 6 dinners on your own, ferries and optional activites, and, of course drinks, tips, etc.
If this sounds like something you’d like to do, or if you’d like more information, by all means to contact us.

Let's go canoeing!
Dates for this year's trip on the Green River in Utah are August 8-12. We’ve done this 5 day trip for the past four years and each time has been absolutely wonderful. So many of you wanted to go we thought we'd do it again. We start just a bit south of the town of Green River and head south toward Canyonlands National Park. This is a flat water trip--no rapids, but the scenery is not to be missed. Join us!!! Five days of canoeing, hiking, and camping in some incredible canyon country--and we play music in the evenings. No, you don't have to be an expert or a triathlon type or from Colorado! And yes, by all means bring an instrument if you can!! This will be our ninth trip and each year has been a whole lot of fun.
For reservations and more information go to Centennial Canoe Outfitters (www.centennialcanoe.com or 1-877-353-1850). Price is about $610 per person, and that includes all food and drink. You bring clothes, a tent and sleeping bag, Centennial supplies the rest. Marty and Julie at Centennial really go out of their way to make these trips both fun and rewarding, not to mention safe (and we always enjoy the Robert Service poems...). We really can't say enough about this--we always look forward to these trips--its going to be another great time! We’ve assembled a photo gallery of past trips here.
