You can get them back or green or you can get them soft or hard

If you live in Acapulco you can get them from your yard

But if you live in Chicago you gotta get them from a store

But as long as you can get them well you just can’t ask for more

Well the first thing that I’d buy if I ever hit the Lotto would be a

Pre-war Martin guitar and a ripe avocado

 

You can dice them in a salad or you can slice them on a plate

Or you can peel and eat them if you don’t mind gaining weight

Because they’ve got a lot of calories they even got a little fat

But the yuppies seem to like them so they must be where it’s at

Well the first thing that I’d buy if I ever hit the Lotto would be a

Little red Miata convertible and a ripe avocado

 

If you mash them with a jalapeno, diced onions and tomater

Better throw in a little lime juice if you want to eat them later

“Cause it gets all black and gooey if you don’t eat it right away

But it still tastes good so I still eat it the next day, I’m talking ‘bout

Couple dozen Small Potato CDs and a ripe Avocado

 

If you take that big old seed and you put it in some water

It just might start to sprout and you could give it to your daughter

And if she put it in some soil it just might grow into a tree

And pretty soon you’ll have all the homegrown you want for free, I’m talking’bout
